Job Details:

• Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum coverage


• Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends


• Shift times: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM


• No call involved


• All standard emergency room procedures required


• Will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physicians with emergency medicine experience


• Required certifications: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS


• All experience levels accepted if boarded


• Average patient census of 81 with a higher population of Level 4 and 5 patients


• Cases include sick patients requiring intubation and central lines with ICU available


• Annual ER admission rate of 12%


• Support staff does not include pediatrics, plastics, neuro IR, cath lab, or OB


• Neurology and psychiatric robots available on unit

The facility includes an active ICU and serves a high volume of patients across a broad range of acuity levels. The emergency department is well-equipped to handle standard emergency procedures while utilizing advanced robotic technology to support neurology and psychiatric care needs.
