Job Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage needed for multiple dates spanning October 2026 through June 2027
- Shifts available as both day (6am-6pm) and night (6pm-6am) coverage
- Provider staffing model consists of 1 Physician (6A-6P and 6P-6A) and 1 APP (11am-9pm) daily
- Nursing staffing includes 2 RNs around the clock plus a triage RN mid-day
- Additional support staff includes respiratory therapy, float RN, Nursing Supervisor, and Nurse Manager
- Patient encounters per shift vary; average daily census is 44
- Trauma Level 4 facility
- No Labor & Delivery department on-site; if delivery situation arises, provider should deliver and transfer to Conemaugh when stable
- Newborn deliveries may be received in the ED
- Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 14 days
- Nearest airports are Pittsburgh or Latrobe; lodging recommendations are in the Altoona area
