Florida 16-Bed ED 36,000 Annual Visits Cerner

Opportunity Highlights

  • November start/availability preferred

  • High-volume 16-bed Emergency Department

  • Approximately 36,000 annual ED visits

  • 12-hour MD coverage

  • Cerner EMR

  • ABEM physicians strongly preferred

  • FM/IM physicians with solid Emergency Medicine experience will also be considered

What We're Looking For

  • BE/BC Emergency Medicine physicians preferred

  • BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience may be considered

  • Active, unrestricted Florida medical license

  • Active DEA with Florida address

  • Comfortable performing all procedures required by the facility

  • AAPS/ABPS candidates are not accepted

Required Certifications

  • ACLS

  • PALS

  • ATLS â€" not required if ABEM certified

Credentialing Requirements

Candidates will need to provide:

  • Flu vaccination within the past 12 months

  • TB screening within the past 12 months

  • COVID documentation

  • Case logs from the past 2 years

  • CME documentation from the past 2 years

Malpractice: $1M/$3M coverage

Ideal Candidate

An ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine physician with an active Florida license, Florida DEA, and November availability is ideal. FM/IM physicians with strong Emergency Medicine experience are also encouraged to apply.
