JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will accept BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience
  • Licenses: Active Florida Medical License, Active DEA with Florida address
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address required
  • Certifications: ATLS (unless ABEM certified), ACLS, PALS required
  • Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required for FM/IM candidates; ABEM candidates preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination, TB screening, COVID documentation, case logs and CME documentation from past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
  • Perform all DOP-listed procedures as required.
  • Manage patient volume of approximately 36,000 annual visits in a 16-bed ED.
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
