    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine accepted
    • Licenses: Active unrestricted Alabama license; DEA and CDS with Alabama address
    • DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS with Alabama address and Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, V
    • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required
    • Experience: Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience
    • Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years (), case logs past 2 years ()
    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
    • Manage night shift coverage as part of a 2-FTE physician team.
    • Perform emergency procedures as required (e.g., intubation, central lines, etc.).
    • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants and support staff.
    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in Epic EHR.
