Emergency Medicine Physician - Part-Time OpportunityOttumwa, Iowa Level IV Trauma Center 20K Annual VolumePosition Overview:We are currently seeking a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join a well-established team at a 120-bed hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for EM-trained or experienced physicians seeking flexibility, stability, and the support of a respected healthcare system.Clinical Details:
  • Emergency Department: 17 beds
  • Annual ED Volume: 20,000 visits
  • Admission Rate: 9%
  • Facility Type: Level IV Trauma Center
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Daily Support:
    • 12 hours of APC coverage
    • Scribe support in the ED
    • Established hospitalist program
    • EMS base station
Candidate Requirements:
  • Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
    • Or board certified in Primary Care (ABFM or AOBFM) with extensive ED experience
