Job Details:

  • Emergency Medicine coverage needed for the following shifts:

  • December 8-11, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

  • December 19-21, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

  • December 27-29, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

  • January 8-10, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

  • January 21-23, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

  • May have an ongoing need for future dates

  • Coverage is 7 days a week

  • Average of 36 patients seen per day

  • Average of 3 admissions per day

  • 11 beds in the Emergency Department

  • Support staff includes ED RNs and 1 APP

  • Both inpatient and outpatient care provided

  • EMR/Charting system: Meditech

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required

  • Level 3 Trauma facility

  • 24-hour availability of Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology

  • Onsite orientation required one day prior to first block of assigned shifts
