Physician - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Emergency Medicine physician coverage needed for 4 open full-time positions

  • Duration of need is 1 year

  • Rotational schedule with morning, mid, and night 10-hour shifts available

  • No call coverage required

  • 1-2 EM physicians plus APPs on staff per shift

  • Support staff includes nursing and APPs

  • Standard ED procedures required

  • Average patient census of 89 with standard ER patient cases

  • 173-bed facility with normal acuity cases; not a trauma center

  • New graduates will be considered

  • ABEM board certification preferred; non-ABEM providers with EM experience will also be considered

  • Current ACLS required; PALS required

  • ATLS required if provider is not board certified

  • 2-day shadow and orientation period required
