JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active MA license
  • Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (BC) required
  • DEA: DEA required (MA)
  • Certifications: ACLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Medicine
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a critical access hospital ED.
  • Manage patient volume of 20-24 patients per day, seeing 2.5-3 patients per hour.
  • Work night shifts (7p-7a) as scheduled, approximately 10-13 shifts per month.
  • Collaborate with limited onsite specialty support and coordinate transfers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
