JOB REQIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
  • Licenses: Active LA Medical License, CDS, DEA with LA address
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ALS, PALS (if not BC in EM)
  • Experience: Residency trained in specialty required
  • Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, health attestation, interview with medical director
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
  • Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers and scribes.
  • Perform emergency procedures including intubation, central line placement, and laceration repair.
  • Document patient care in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and departmental meetings.
