Clinical Role RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician for a long-term locums opportunity in Dickson, Tennessee. This hospital-based role includes onsite Emergency Department coverage across morning, mid, night, weekend, and call needs. New graduates will be considered.

Approximately 119 billable encounters per day
Approximately 22.4 admissions per day
Average patient census: Approximately 101
Approximately 2,650 annual Emergency Department admissions
Not a trauma center
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients
Manage a broad range of standard Emergency Medicine presentations
Perform appropriate diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning
Stabilize acutely ill and injured patients
Determine appropriate disposition, including admission, transfer, or discharge
Coordinate care with nursing, technical, and APP staff
Provide weekend, night, and call coverage as scheduled
Procedures & Skills
Standard Emergency Medicine procedures
Acute stabilization and resuscitation
Emergency diagnostic and treatment management
Support & Technology
Nursing support
Emergency Department technicians
Approximately 1-2 Emergency Medicine physicians per shift
APP support
Requirements
Board Certified through ABEM required
Active Tennessee medical license required
New graduates accepted
Must be comfortable working morning, mid, night, and weekend coverage
