Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens emergency medicine coverage for 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

  • Available shift dates:
    • December 12th: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • December 19th: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • December 20th: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • December 23rd: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • December 26th: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
    • December 29th: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

  • Standard solo emergency room coverage

  • Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS

  • EMR system: Meditech 6.1

  • Open ICU setting with 1 physician and 2 mid-level split coverage

  • Annual patient volume of 32,000 with a daily patient volume of 90-100 patients

  • Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift

  • 22 beds in the emergency department

  • Board certification required

  • On-site support services include anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology available 24 hours

  • Labor and delivery department on site

  • Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments

  • Travel costs capped at $500.00
