Employee IT Platform Engineer - Automate Onboarding

Wordsmith is seeking an on-site Employee Platform Engineer in Edinburgh to own onboarding, access, devices and offboarding as a unified system. You will build tooling, including coding agent workflows, that reduces manual steps and automates operations from identity to devices.

You will work hands-on with hardware, automate end-to-end workflows, and push toward self-service automation and secure, auditable processes. This role emphasizes real ownership and scalable internal tooling.
