Overview

In this role you will provide end-user computing support and manage devices used by colleagues, ensuring hardware and software meet standards and user needs. You’ll install, update and license software while maintaining security and documentation, with a focus on reliable remote and on-site support. You work closely with IT teams to sustain seamless computing environments and drive improvements. This is an opportunity to shape a secure, efficient end-user computing service within a people-focused IT function.

Responsibilities
  • Provide second-line technical support for hardware, software and network issues across desktops, laptops and mobile devices
  • Configure, deploy and maintain end-user computing devices to meet standards and user needs
  • Install, update and manage software applications and licenses in compliance with policies
  • Log, track and resolve incidents in the IT service management system and escalate when needed
  • Create and maintain user documentation and deliver training to improve productivity
  • Enforce security policies on end-user devices (antivirus, encryption, access controls)
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration of end-user computing environments
  • Maintain accurate asset records and coordinate hardware refresh programs
  • Provide remote support across locations to ensure consistent IT services
  • Identify and propose process and tool improvements to enhance efficiency
Key requirements
  • degree in IT or relevant experience
  • knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, networks, OS)
  • CompTIA qualification (preferable)
  • knowledge of Microsoft products (Exchange, Intune, Entra, Teams Admin, M365) and operating systems
  • knowledge of an ITIL-based environment
