We’re looking for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join our team, working across a localised patch covering York, Harrogate and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Security Service Engineer, you’ll manage your own schedule and visit customer sites throughout your local area. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, maintaining and inspecting intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
  • Carrying out planned maintenance and diagnosing faults
  • Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
  • Responding to service calls and resolving technical issues promptly
  • Providing customers with clear, helpful technical advice
  • Building positive customer relationships and delivering excellent service
  • Maintaining accurate records of completed work
  • Taking part in a structured call‑out rota, providing out‑of‑hours support on a rotational basis

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be an experienced Security Engineer with:

  • Hands‑on experience servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • The confidence to work independently and organise your own workload
  • A professional and customer‑focused approach
  • Good communication skills
  • A commitment to completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
