Engineer I, People Technology, HCM

In this role you will be the first line owner for Workday HCM across the global People team, ensuring data integrity and smooth HR workflows. You will collaborate with Corporate Technology to keep data flowing between Workday and ERP systems, supporting growth and platform upgrades. You’ll move beyond basic fixes to resolve complex functional questions and document the processes for future efficiency. This is an early-career position with mentorship, focused on reliable data, scalable HR operations, and cross‑team partnerships.

• Own first-line support for Workday queries and initial resolution
• Proactively maintain core Workday HCM health to minimize downtime and data errors
• Resolve complex day-to-day functional Workday issues beyond basic fixes
• Secure data flows by coordinating with Corporate Technology for integrations
• Empower HR teams by streamlining workflows and reporting for global stakeholders
• Support platform upgrades and upcoming feature deployments to scale with the company
• Standardize support processes with clear documentation and runbooks

• 1+ year Workday experience or similar administering modules, configuring processes, security, and workflows
• Passion for optimizing HR workflows within Workday
• Experience with system testing, deployments, upgrades, and technical documentation
• Growth mindset with desire to deepen Workday knowledge across modules
• Creative problem solving with a customer service mindset and independent research
• Strong written and verbal English communication, able to coordinate with global teams
