Engineer - Verification and Test

In this role you drive verification and testing across detector, sub-system and system levels for space-focused imaging technology. You will collaborate with project teams and manufacturing to ensure products meet strict specifications and space-qualification needs. You’ll define test flows, commission equipment, and train staff, enabling high-quality detectors for demanding missions. • Collaborate with project team to deliver fully tested systems
• Develop and implement test and verification plans from system requirements
• Plan and perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests
• Create project documentation including test procedures and reports; train operations staff
• Present at design, test and project reviews for internal and external audiences
• Define test equipment requirements and commission GSE
• Automate test equipment using scripting or coding for OGSE/EGSE/MGSE
• Conduct detector, sub-system and system verification testing and ECSS-compliant testing

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
• Experience in spaceflight hardware or AIT for space applications
• Test planning and scheduling
• Verification/validation of requirements
• Scripting and operation of EGSE systems
• Good general electrical and electronics background
• Knowledge of environmental testing of sub-systems for space
• Experience of fault finding
• Engineering lifecycle and requirements management
• Knowledge of Space Standards (ECSS) preferred
