Engineering Director (Digital Infrastructure)

As Engineering Director, you will shape and lead a multidisciplinary engineering function to deliver major highways and infrastructure programmes. You will align engineering strategy with business goals while directing technical delivery and governance. You’ll work closely with senior customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive complex technology projects to success. This role offers a platform to influence large-scale programmes and build high-performing engineering teams. You will lead with impact in a mission-critical infrastructure environment.

• Lead engineering strategy and delivery of major highways/infrastructure programmes
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle
• Oversee engineering governance, systems engineering, V&V, assurance and technical compliance
• Collaborate with senior customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver complex technology programmes

• Background in Highways, Transport, Infrastructure or Operational Technology
• Experience delivering large-scale, integrated technology or engineering programmes
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, governance, assurance and full engineering lifecycle
