Engineering Manager - Data Platform (Hybrid, GBR)

As Engineering Manager, you will build and lead a brand-new Data Replay & Recovery team within the Data Platform, shaping its charter and technology. You’ll drive a critical data replay application that enhances reliability and resilience of CrowdStrike’s cloud platform, leveraging a security data lake to support downstream services. You’ll partner with Data Platform, ML Platform, and DevOps teams to tackle large-scale data challenges. This role combines leadership with hands-on architecture in a fast-paced, mission‑driven environment. • Design, develop, and maintain a petabyte-scale data platform
• Participate in technical reviews and help define new features and improve stability

• Research and implement new ways for stakeholders to query data and obtain desired formats
• Build and lead a self-service Data Replay product to ensure business continuity for downstream data consumers

• 3+ years of hands-on management experience leading engineering teams in a big data environment
• Bachelor in Computer Science (or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems,big data)
• 7+ years’ experience across backend/cloud development and data platform engineering
• Strong understanding of algorithms, distributed systems design, and SDLC
