Engineering Solution Architect

As Engineering Solution Architect, you will lead a large-scale migration from a SaaS platform to on-premise infrastructure for a major financial services organization. You will define the end-to-end migration strategy and target architecture, coordinating across engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations to ensure a secure, compliant, and technically sound solution. You’ll act as the primary technical contact, guiding delivery teams and communicating risks and decisions to stakeholders. This is a high-impact role that shapes the future-ready core systems landscape and reinforces operational resilience.

• Define end-to-end migration strategy and target architecture for SaaS-to-on-premise transition
• Assess current SaaS setup, identify dependencies, risks, and constraints
• Develop a clear migration roadmap with sequence and technical considerations
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations to ensure regulatory and operational alignment
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the migration and provide direction to delivery teams
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and key decisions throughout the engagement

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar senior engineering role with hands-on SaaS-to-on-premise migrations
• Strong knowledge of on-premise infrastructure design, including networking, storage, security, and deployment considerations
• Experience in regulated industries, especially financial services, with compliance and operational resilience focus
• Ability to translate complex findings into an actionable migration plan
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate technical strategy to technical and business audiences
• Familiarity with core banking or wealth management platforms is a plus
