Engineering Systems Support Engineer

In this role you will be the first point of contact for global Engineering Software support, ensuring critical applications run reliably for engineering teams. You will manage deployments, upgrades and maintenance of key tools like Teamcenter, NX and others across JCB’s global operations. You’ll collaborate with IT and engineering stakeholders to deliver both BAU support and new projects, impacting how engineering programs are delivered. • Monitor and operate Engineering Systems daily; generate reports and identify performance improvements
• Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose issues using industry-standard methods
• Configure and deploy new functionality, applications and upgrades for global engineering teams
• Manage applications shared on the Group Engineering Application website and provide 2nd/3rd line support
• Support Engineering Systems server infrastructure, processes and monitoring
• Create, manage and test SCCM packages for Engineering applications
• Monitor licensing and account access across Engineering applications
• Gather requirements and justify system development and support needs
• Coordinate and document testing for existing and future applications to enable project sign-off

• Degree in IT or an Engineering discipline
• 5 years’ experience in Engineering Systems support
• Ability to attain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
• Technical hands-on background in Application and/or Hardware support
• Keen, self-starter with team-oriented mindset
• Siemens Teamcenter experience in areas like Classification/Query Builder/Preference Management/AWC (advantageous)
• Training available for Teamcenter and other applications
