Enterprise AI Transformation Director

Lead Cenovus’s enterprise AI strategy and transformation as Director, guiding responsible adoption, portfolio priorities, and measurable business value across the organization.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Business Transformation, you will lead the AI Centre of Excellence and its multidisciplinary team. You will advance the Hub and Spoke operating model, align executives and business leaders, and translate enterprise priorities into scalable AI programs. The role requires strong change leadership, portfolio management, and enterprise technology understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the multidisciplinary AI Centre of Excellence team
• Own enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, and portfolio
• Prioritize initiatives across value, risk, governance, and capacity
• Partner with business areas to capture AI value
• Establish responsible governance, standards, and delivery models

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable education and experience
• Minimum 20 years of industry experience
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience
• Minimum 5 years connecting technology with business outcomes
