Overview

As Enterprise Applications Manager, you will define the EMEA enterprise applications roadmap, lead a new Business Systems function, and drive transformation across a global operations footprint. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value and to optimise critical systems. This strategic role sits on the IT Leadership Team, shaping governance, security, and delivery in a complex, matrix organisation. You’ll develop a high-performing team and influence cross-functional partners to enable growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the enterprise applications strategy and roadmap across EMEA
  • Manage the full application lifecycle: selection, implementation, optimisation, upgrades, retirement
  • Ensure reliability, performance, availability, and security of business-critical systems
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of application specialists
  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors
  • Drive governance, compliance, and best practices across the application portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support business growth through technology
Key requirements
  • Proven experience in Enterprise Applications Management or senior IT leadership
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technologies including ERP, PLM, BI, SaaS platforms, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Atlassian tools, and integration technologies
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders across complex matrix organisations
  • Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery capabilities
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Degree qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
