Overview

In this role you support architectural efforts across a business and technology portfolio, growing into enterprise architecture through mentorship from principal peers. You will help translate business objectives into architecture roadmaps and align technology initiatives with enterprise goals. You collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and governance across the development lifecycle. You contribute to modern architectural practices and maintain architectural artifacts and standards. This position offers exposure to strategic initiatives, driving enterprise-wide thinking and technology modernization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain architecture strategy, target-state architecture, and technology vision within a portfolio
  • Translate business objectives into architectural roadmaps and technology initiatives aligned with enterprise goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architectural direction and successful solution execution
  • Contribute to enterprise, conceptual, and solution architectures using modern practices (API-driven, event-based, cloud-native, loosely coupled)
  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to translate priorities into aligned technical solutions
  • Create and maintain architectural artifacts (inventories, capability maps, roadmaps, diagrams, risk assessments, standards)
  • Participate in architecture governance, reviews, and strategic planning to ensure standards and security alignment
  • Stay aware of emerging technologies and contribute recommendations for adoption and modernization
  • Support business capability planning, target-state architectures, roadmaps, and investment priorities
  • Engage in continuous learning and contribute to improving enterprise architecture practices
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Computer Science
  • Typically 5-7 years in technology roles with demonstrated proficiency and business acumen
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture practices and familiarity with TOGAF
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support architectural alignment
  • Interest in architecture strategy, transformation, and emerging technologies
  • Experience in the insurance sector or regulated industries is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications preferred
