VIQU has partnered with a large global professional services organisation undergoing significant technology and operating-model transformation to recruit an Enterprise Architect. This is a new permanent position within an established architecture function, helping connect business strategy with technology delivery across a complex international environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect

• Translate business goals and drivers into actionable IT roadmaps
• Lead architecture assessments and planning workshops
• Provide architectural oversight across large and complex programmes
• Map dependencies across people, process, data and technology
• Align business capabilities and operating models with technology platforms
• Create and maintain architectural models and views
• Work across business, data, applications, security, cloud and technology architecture
• Partner with senior business and IT stakeholders as a trusted adviser
• Develop architecture standards, services and reference architectures
• Coach colleagues and promote architectural thinking across the organisation

Key Requirements of the Enterprise Architect

• Previous Enterprise Architecture experience, ideally in a large or global organisation
• Strong Solutions Architecture experience across multiple domains
• TOGAF or ArchiMate qualification
• Broad understanding of business, data, application, technology and security architectures
• Experience supporting complex projects and programmes from concept through implementation
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, including executive-level engagement
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and modelling tools
• OrbusInfinity experience is beneficial but can be taught
• Legal-sector experience is not essential

The Enterprise Architect will report to the Principal Enterprise Architect and will have the opportunity to influence architecture maturity while supporting strategic transformation across a global organisation. Working hours can be flexible around individual, team and international time-zone requirements.
