Enterprise Architect - Cloud

In this role you drive end-to-end cloud transformation engagements across AWS, Azure, and GCP, owning design, migration strategy, and governance. You will lead multi-cloud architectures, hybrid connectivity, and security with a strong focus on cost governance and risk management. You’ll mentor peers, articulate cloud strategy to executives, and own migration cutovers from design to go-live. This hands-on, cross-hyperscaler position thrives in complex, multi-vendor environments and meaningful client impact.

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of cloud architecture engagements: design authority, low-level design, migration execution, and post-go-live optimisation
• Host Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Technical Design Authority (TDA) sessions, managing governance gates and design sign-off
• Architect multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP for compute, storage, networking, and identity
• Lead on-premises-to-cloud migration strategy and execution: assess workloads, plan waves, ensure low-downtime cutover
• Design hybrid cloud architectures connecting on-premises data centres to cloud environments and establish hybrid identity and DNS strategies
• Define cloud landing zones and foundation architectures with multi-account/subscription strategy and policy-as-code
• Advise clients on cloud economics and FinOps, including cost visibility and rightsizing strategies
• Define cloud security architecture: identity federation, network segmentation, encryption, compliance alignment across hyperscalers
• Lead design workshops, present roadmaps to client leadership, and serve as escalation point for delivery teams
• Mentor other cloud architects and engineers and contribute to reference architectures
• Support pre-sales with technical scoping, migration effort estimation, and POC design

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, or cloud engineering
• 5+ years across multiple hyperscale cloud platforms with depth in at least two and working knowledge of the third
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale on-premises-to-cloud migrations
• AWS (Expert Level) with experience like EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Well-Architected, and related tooling
• Azure (Expert Level) with focus on Virtual Machines, VNet, Entra ID, Landing Zones, ExpressRoute, AKS
• GCP (Strong Working / Expert Level) with Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud IAM, Interconnect, and GKE
• Migration tooling experience (e.g., MGN, DMS, Migrate to VM) and modernisation patterns
• Security, networking, and cloud governance experience across multiple providers
• IaC and automation capabilities (Terraform, CloudFormation/Bicep) and observability tools
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
