As an Enterprise Architect Manager at Accenture, you will shape enterprise-level IT strategies and architectures for high-profile government digital services. You’ll work closely with clients, guiding complex requirements and delivering architectural solutions that align with business objectives. You’ll lead technical directions, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the growth of the architecture practice. The role blends client-facing delivery with internal practice development, offering impact across programs and governance forums.

Responsibilities
- Define architecture for large-scale, complex digital services aligned to business objectives
- Develop IT strategy, EA, and roadmaps for major programs
- Manage non-functional requirements across delivery and operations
- Provide specialist technology advice and risk mitigation for designs
- Ensure conformance to architectural principles and standards
- Provide architectural and technical leadership
- Apply TOGAF, ArchiMate and related methodologies
- Utilise EA modelling tools to create and communicate artefacts
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate within a matrixed organisation
- Mentor and develop junior team members; prepare training and KT materials
- Support business development (bids, pitches, proposals) and thought leadership
- Contribute to case studies, reference architectures, and reusable patterns
- Support CTO Advisory in talent acquisition and demand planning
- Promote Accenture values and culture within the practice
Key requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ EA practice experience, ideally in client-facing consulting
- Hands-on technical background, preferably systems engineering
- Experience applying architectural concepts and methodologies
- Strong proficiency in ArchiMate, UML and BPMN
- Experience with EA modelling tools (e.g., Sparx EA, BiZZdesign, Abacus)
- Knowledge of solution architecture principles and modelling notations
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and integration techniques
- Palantir experience beneficial
- Experience managing technical risks and QA for deliverables
- Strong IT system design, build, test, deployment, and management understanding
- Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Experience mentoring, training, or supporting colleagues
- Experience contributing to bids, proposals, or business development
- Experience presenting designs and participating in architecture governance forums
