As Enterprise Architect for the Modern Workplace, you own the target-state architecture across identity, devices, productivity tools, and office technology. You set cross-tower standards, act as design authority for major workplace changes, and ensure a secure, integrated employee experience. You’ll align designs with WPP architecture and guide partner implementations while exploring horizon-scanning opportunities including AI. This role directly supports a scalable, future-ready workplace for a global, creative organization.

- Define the target-state architecture for the Modern Workplace across Identity, Client Devices, Productivity Tools and Office Technology
- Set cross-tower architecture principles, standards, reference patterns and roadmaps
- Act as design authority for major and cross-tower workplace changes
- Architect integration across towers into a seamless employee experience
- Embed security-by-design, zero-trust, resilience and data protection
- Ensure partner-delivered designs meet WPP security and standards
- Own workplace technology strategy, build-vs-buy decisions and horizon-scanning for new capabilities (including AI)
- Advise the Modern Workplace Director and tower heads to align architecture with business priorities
- Set architecture, patterns and guardrails for Kyndryl implementation and operation
- Influence engineering and vendor teams to ensure deliverables meet requirements
- Enterprise architecture spanning identity, devices, collaboration and office/meeting tools
- Proven cross-domain architecture leadership at global scale
- Experience with TOGAF or similar frameworks
- Security-by-design, zero-trust and data-protection architecture
- Integration/Platform architecture across cloud (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), endpoint and identity ecosystems
- Strong communication and influence with engineering, vendor and executive audiences
- Recognised architecture experience at enterprise scale
- Relevant architecture or platform certifications (e.g. TOGAF)
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Balances strategic vision with practical deliverables
- Stays current with platform direction and emerging capability
