Enterprise Data Architect

In this role you will own Civica’s enterprise data architecture during a major technology modernisation. You’ll define current and target data architectures, design scalable data models and integration patterns, and lead data governance and migration initiatives across ERP and transformation programmes. You will work with senior leaders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment, while delivering practical outcomes that enable analytics, automation and AI enablement. You’ll shape a global data landscape and act as the authority on data architecture.

• Own and develop enterprise data and integration architecture strategy
• Document current-state and future-state data architectures across the organisation
• Design scalable data models, integration patterns, and migration strategies for business transformation
• Provide architectural leadership across ERP, professional services automation, integration, and data transformation initiatives
• Provide expert guidance on data governance, quality controls, and master data management approaches
• Support large-scale data migration activities
• Define transition states from legacy to target architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to ensure alignment and delivery
• Translate complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences
• Oversee data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Act as subject matter authority for enterprise data architecture across central functions

• Significant experience in Enterprise Data Architecture within complex organisations
• Strong expertise in data modelling, integration architecture, and large-scale data migration programmes
• Experience designing and delivering data architecture strategies that support business transformation
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on, delivery-focused approach
• Experience across multiple enterprise platforms and complex technology landscapes
• Strong stakeholder management with executive-level influence
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, standards, and controls
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations and best-practice architecture principles
• Track record of driving architectural change in fast-paced environments
