Enterprise Network Security Architect

Shape enterprise network security architecture at Enbridge through technical standards, secure designs, and cross-portfolio alignment. This full-time position supports high-pressure operations and on-call rotation.

In this Network and Perimeter Security IT Specialist I position, you will influence technology roadmaps and long-term security posture. Responsibilities include cloud transformations, M&A integrations, critical infrastructure, SCADA environments, and control systems. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams on consistent, resilient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define network security architecture, standards, and control frameworks
• Influence technology roadmaps, investments, and long-term security posture
• Align secure solutions across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations
• Improve vulnerability, lifecycle, and platform resiliency proactively
• Ensure compliance across enterprise, SCADA, and control systems environments

Requirements:

• Related degree or technical diploma with six-plus years’ experience
• Expertise in firewalls, IPS, WAF, PKI, DNS, and cloud security
• Knowledge of OT, ICS, SCADA, Purdue zoning, and network segregation
• Understanding of protocols, OSI model, and multilayered security approaches
• Strength in risk management, audits, documentation, and technical influence
