Overview
In this role you support the incubation motion to bring Asana Service Management to IT and service teams. You partner with account executives to validate opportunities, map IT workflows to Asana, and craft practical solution designs and business value stories. You’ll run technical discovery and tailored demos to position Asana within customers’ tech landscapes and help teams envision AI-powered service delivery. Your work informs product direction and scalable technical content for a growing field organization.

- Lead technical validation for IT/service opportunities in mid-market accounts from discovery to close
- Map IT/service management workflows to Asana Service Management and translate pains into designs
- Prepare compelling business value narratives for IT leaders and stakeholders
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, whiteboard conversations, and customized product demonstrations
- Showcase how modern service delivery, workflow automation, and AI can enhance employee experience and efficiency
- Advise on solution architecture, integrations, admin considerations, and deployment approach
- Collaborate with AEs, CSMs, and Solutions Engineers to expand opportunities within existing Asana customers
- Build repeatable demo assets, solution patterns, and technical collateral for scalable adoption
- Surface customer feedback, objections, and product gaps to Product and GTM leadership
- Deliver technical enablement and best practices to improve field-facing conversations
- 3+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of IT/service team personas and workflows
- Strong discovery skills to uncover workflows, constraints, criteria, and success metrics
- Proficiency in designing and delivering product demos, workshops, and whiteboard sessions
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly (LLMs, AI, integrations, workflow design, data, permissions, automation)
- Strong collaboration with AEs, CSMs, Product, and Marketing to drive outcomes
- Comfort with early-stage/incubation motions where messaging and playbooks evolve in real time
- Adaptability, curiosity, and a builder mentality
- Familiarity with ITIL, service catalog, SLA, and incident/workflow concepts
- Experience with ITSM/ESM, ticketing, knowledge management, identity, or workflow automation tools
- Background supporting displacement or migration conversations from legacy enterprise software
- Understanding of AI-powered automation and self-service employee experiences
- Comfort with modern sales/demo tooling and scalable technical content
