Apply fundamental equity research and valuation analysis as an Equity Research Analyst in Fidelity’s flexible hybrid Toronto office. Cover Canadian-market stocks and develop investment ideas.

Fidelity Canada’s Equity Research Analyst works with portfolio managers at Fidelity Canada Investment Management ULC. The position covers 20 to 25 stocks and requires financial projections, proprietary analysis, and investment recommendations. You will research sectors, industries, companies, and stocks while engaging management teams, industry experts, sell-side analysts, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fundamental equity research across an assigned coverage universe
• Generate investment ideas for mutual funds and institutional strategies
• Create detailed financial projections for covered companies
• Develop stock valuation analyses and investment recommendations
• Meet company management, industry experts, and investment professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• One to ten years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated academic success
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Current Canadian work authorization
