ERP Technical Delivery Analyst

In this role you provide technical assurance and delivery oversight for Serco's SAP-centric ERP landscape, guiding vendor-led delivery and risk management. You work within the ERP Technical team to ensure solution quality, stability, and secure integration across projects and BAU, collaborating with partners and internal stakeholders. You drive platform transitions and modernization while maintaining governance and architecture alignment. This is a delivery-focused authority role with influence over third-party performance and technical decisions.

• Act as technical lead and design authority for ERP initiatives, directing and assuring third-party vendors
• Ensure ERP solutions are fit-for-purpose, supportable, secure, and aligned to architecture standards before go-live
• Advise ERP leadership on technical risks, dependencies, and constraints
• Support major platform transitions and modernization initiatives (e.g., RISE, cloud services, integrations)
• Provide technical oversight for ERP projects and significant (P1/P2) BAU incidents
• Lead root-cause investigations into complex technical or integration issues
• Operate across SAP ECC, SRM, PI, BW on HANA, MS SQL, Azure-hosted services, Opentext Cloud, and third-party tools
• Engage Change Management processes and support environment, implementation, and release management
• Oversee system tuning, performance monitoring, and improvement efforts
• Collaborate with internal ERP, Platform, Integration, and Security teams and manage vendor relationships
• Participate in Design Authority and governance forums with documented, defensible technical decisions

• 7+ years of experience with complex SAP landscapes in vendor-led or outsourced models
• Strong SAP technical foundation (e.g., SAP Basis, platforms, integrations, cloud hosting)
• Experience in assurance, oversight, or technical leadership roles (not hands-on/build)
• Ability to explain technical risks to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership
