Overview

As an ETL Data Developer, you will design and build scalable data pipelines and models for our risk-focused fintech platform. You’ll collaborate with risk and analytics teams to productionize data and ML workflows in a cloud-based environment. You’ll shape data flows, automate data integration, and support BI and analytics across the organization. This role combines hands-on engineering with opportunities to impact credit risk modelling and data infrastructure at scale. You’ll thrive in a fast, open, collaborative culture that rewards thoughtful technical decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Risk and Analytics teams to build ML risk models and large-scale data projects from inception to production
  • Create high-quality datasets from raw data using modern tools
  • Design and embed data models and data flows in the cloud
  • Drive batch, streaming, and ML applications from design to production
  • Contribute to cloud data platform design, ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics
  • Contribute to CI/CD automation, infrastructure management and configuration
  • Transform and clean data from multiple sources to improve quality and accessibility
  • Develop architectures for data extraction and transformation for predictive modelling
  • Automate repeatable data integrations and data preparation flows
  • Manipulate data, fulfil ad-hoc requests, and troubleshoot issues
Key requirements
  • 2:1 or above Honours degree in mathematics, computer science or comparable field
  • Python
  • Build ETL pipelines (e.g., Airflow)
  • JavaScript
  • Build and CI/CD tools
  • SQL
  • REST APIs development
  • GIT and branching
  • BI tools (Looker, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Containerisation technologies
