Overview

In this role you lead technical engagements with major Mobile Network Operators and steer RAN integration, service enablement, and deployment readiness for next-generation wireless solutions. You’ll bridge R&D, Product Engineering, and Systems teams to drive successful LTE/5G deployments. Your impact spans technical leadership, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration that shapes customer-ready network offerings. This role combines deep RAN know-how with a strong customer-facing stance, offering a meaningful opportunity to influence large-scale operator deployments.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the technical relationship with assigned MNOs
  • Lead workshops, architecture reviews, integration activities, and deployment readiness
  • Drive LTE/5G feature integration, service validation, and commercial launch support
  • Troubleshoot RAN issues across PHY, MAC, RLC, and RRC layers
  • Perform RCA and coordinate resolution with R&D, Product Eng., Validation, and Operations
  • Monitor deployment KPIs, milestones, risks, and readiness
  • Produce technical documentation such as RCAs, integration reports, and deployment guides
  • Collaborate to improve deployment processes and best practices
Key requirements
  • 12+ years in RAN Systems Engineering, Product Development, or R&D
  • Experience with a major telecom infrastructure vendor
  • Strong LTE and 5G RAN knowledge
  • Hands-on eNodeB/gNodeB integration, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Deep understanding of 3GPP (PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, Scheduler, HARQ, Mobility, ICIC, MIMO, Beamforming)
  • Experience supporting customer trials, validation, service enablement, and launches
  • Strong customer-facing experience with Tier 1 operators
  • RF Front-End, Baseband, IQ Analysis, and Antenna Systems
  • Experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, XCAL, XCAP, QXDM, and telecom log analysis
  • RCA documentation experience
  • Python scripting for automation and log analysis
