In this EUC Engineer role, you will deliver endpoint services for a major technology transformation, focusing on modern Windows management and migration. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to prepare and move users and devices, ensure security and compliance, and automate repeatable processes at scale. The role offers hands-on engineering, testing, and early-life support in a public-sector transformation context. You will contribute to a secure, reliable, and user-centered endpoint experience.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune enrolment, compliance, configuration, update and app deployment policies
  • Design and test Windows Autopilot profiles and provisioning processes
  • Implement Entra ID Join patterns and modern device-registration approaches
  • Develop repeatable enrollment, configuration and validation processes for Windows devices
  • Prepare endpoint pilots and migration waves with defined user/device cohorts
  • Plan device migration considering user-state, profiles, apps, and data
  • Deploy, configure and troubleshoot packaged apps, scripts and endpoint configurations
  • Manage endpoint dependencies (certificates, VPN, security controls, CA)
  • Configure endpoint security (Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, device compliance)
  • Investigate and resolve complex Windows/endpoint issues; analyze logs and diagnostic data
  • Analyze readiness data ahead of migrations; identify and fix defects pre-cutover
  • Support migration cutover and early-life support periods
  • Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
  • Produce configuration records, runbooks, and operational procedures
  • Support knowledge transfer and handover to operations and support teams
  • Collaborate with service transition teams to ensure operability and readiness
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement across waves
Key requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft endpoint technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID Join and Windows Autopilot
  • Extensive Windows endpoint administration and troubleshooting
  • Experience designing Intune policies (security, compliance, update, app deployment)
  • Experience provisioning and migrating Windows devices at scale
  • Experience delivering endpoint migrations across multiple user/device cohorts
  • Understanding of Windows profiles, user state, apps and provisioning
  • Application-packaging and deployment experience
  • PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation experience
  • Knowledge of Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security controls
  • Understanding of BitLocker, certificates, VPN and Conditional Access dependencies
  • Ability to analyse logs/diagnostic data to identify root causes
  • Experience supporting pilots, migration waves, cutovers and early-life support
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
