Experimentation Analyst

As an Exploration Analyst in FT’s Experimentation team, you will support company-wide testing across a fast-moving digital environment. You help turn test results into actionable insights for Marketing, Product, Editorial, and Senior Management, contributing to a data-driven culture. You’ll analyze tests, share learnings, and help maintain consistency in reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers impact by shaping how FT runs experiments and learns from them, across multiple data tools and platforms.

- Provide test analysis and support to stakeholders across the business
- Support embedded analysts in conducting tests on the ground
- Be the primary contact for testing BAU questions
- Assist teams with pre-test metric evaluations, post-test analyses, documentation and regular stakeholder communication
- Help to establish best practices and maintain consistency in experiment reporting
- Advocate for an experimentation culture, recommend FT’s experimentation goals, and collaborate with L&D
- Help the team keep track of the multiple work streams and tests
- Contribute ideas and content to the quarterly Experimentation newsletter
- 2+ years of Analyst experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with A/B testing / Experimentation
- Strong statistical background
- Enjoy working with stakeholders
- Ability to understand the commercial imperatives behind requests and design A/B tests with those in mind
- Exposure to working with a wide variety of data sets and data tools
- Ability to present and communicate complex analysis to senior stakeholders
- University degree attainment in Mathematics / Management / Business / Psychology / Computer Science / Statistics / Economics / or similar numerate discipline
