Overview

In this role you will build and maintain large-scale distributed backend components that power Wiz’s cloud security platform. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to tackle scaling challenges and deliver maintainable code. You’ll influence architecture and design decisions to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities
  • End-to-end development of backend components (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring)
  • Influence architectural and technical decisions
  • Lead design and code reviews
  • Improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of backend systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps) to deliver features
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of backend engineering experience in a high-level language (e.g., Java, C#, Golang)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with microservices-based architectures
  • Experience with databases and message queue technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
  • Strong collaboration and communication
  • Problem solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to influence and mentor peers
