  • The candidate will be responsible for showing empathy and kindness, taking time to understand colleagues’ and clients’ circumstances, motivators, and concerns.
  • The candidate will be responsible for communicating clearly to identify client needs and deliver client-focused advice and solutions, resolving concerns at the first point of contact.
  • The candidate must leverage their own expertise, as well as that of RBC partners, to address clients’ personal and business financial needs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing professional guidance on complex credit and investment matters, ensuring solutions meet client needs and financial circumstances.
  • The candidate must champion digital tools by educating clients to self-serve while providing expert advice and guidance.
  • The candidate will be responsible for utilizing technology effectively to connect with clients in person and virtually.
  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing effective contact and relationship building strategies, that accelerate new client acquisition and retention in your local community.
  • The candidate must collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to ensure clients receive customized and relevant expert advice.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a valid Mutual Funds accreditation, such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
  • The candidate must have completed the Certificate of Achievement in Personal Finance from the Canadian Securities Institute (i.e., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).
  • The candidate must have 1-2 years of proven sales experience in financial services, with exposure to credit and investments.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to build trust and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • The candidate must be digitally literate and comfortable using smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices.
  • The candidate must be active in developing strong network within the local community.
