External Audit Manager CPA

Lead external audit engagements at PwC Canada using Canadian auditing standards, internal controls testing, and client-facing team leadership. This position offers hybrid work.

As an External Audit Manager, you will provide Assurance services and business advice to clients ranging from fast-growing organizations to large, internationally connected entities. You will use technology to reduce manual testing and focus on client service, governance, and information reliability. The position requires Canadian CPA qualification, audit expertise, and strong stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client-facing external audit teams
• Examine financial records and observe client processes
• Test internal control design and operating effectiveness
• Verify financial statements and supporting disclosures
• Prepare and deliver audit proposals

Requirements:

• Progressive Manager-level external audit experience
• Qualified Canadian CPA or recognized equivalent designation
• Understanding of Canadian auditing standards
• Knowledge of IFRS and ASPE
• Fluency in English and French
