External Auditor Financial Statements

External auditors are needed across Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Brampton and North York for hybrid office and client-site work. Apply your audit expertise across varied engagements.

This six-month contract welcomes junior, intermediate and senior auditors, plus supervisors and managers. Responsibilities include financial statement audits, substantive procedures, working papers and client communication. You may apply IFRS, US GAAP and/or ASPE across multiple industries and company sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform external financial statement audits across varied client industries
• Execute substantive procedures across key financial statement areas
• Prepare and review audit working papers and supporting schedules
• Investigate variances through analytical procedures and identify audit issues
• Communicate with clients about documentation and outstanding audit items

Requirements:

• External audit experience in public accounting or professional services
• Experience with financial statement audits and substantive procedures
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and/or ASPE
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
• CPA, CPA Candidate, CA or equivalent designation is an asset
