FA or General Accountant - 3 weeks

Our client is a global and international healthcare company, biotech firms, and academic institutions to acquire, license, and introduce new and established therapies into the Canadian market. They are looking for a General Accountant to join them on 3-week contract. The role is 5 days a week in office located in Oakville.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant or General Accountant for a short-term, three-week assignment with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and hands-on experience with SAP Business One.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting duties.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
• Utilize Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Work within SAP Business One to manage accounting transactions and financial information.

Must Have:

• Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or General Accountant role.
• Strong bookkeeping and general accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One is essential.
• Above-average Excel skills, including working with formulas, spreadsheets, and financial data.
• Some experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience preparing financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

This is a fully in-office position based in Oakville.

Candidates must be available to start on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

The assignment is expected to last three weeks (could go longer)
