Overview

In this role you will leverage Microsoft Fabric to build and mature cloud-based data solutions. You will work within a team to improve data quality and standards, and help migrate legacy SQL and Power BI environments toward Fabric-based workflows. The role offers hybrid working with a Leeds office presence and a chance to contribute to a growing Fabric implementation across the organization. You will engage with cross-functional partners to deliver customer value through reliable data platforms.

Responsibilities
  • work with Microsoft Fabric to design and implement data solutions
  • drive data quality improvements and standardisation across the data platform
  • migrate data from legacy SQL and Power BI environments to Fabric
  • utilise Azure components (ADF/Databricks) to support Fabric-based data pipelines
  • contribute to deployment and exploitation of Fabric functionality within the team
  • collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that support business value
Key requirements
  • experience as Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric
  • cloud data platform experience, preferably Azure
  • experience with ADF and/or Databricks
  • ability to migrate data from legacy SQL and Power BI to Fabric
  • hybrid work arrangement (Leeds office 2 days per week)
