In this role you will design, install and support Microsoft Fabric solutions for public and private sector clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data strategies into scalable Fabric-based platforms and analytics. You’ll help migrate workloads, optimise performance and ensure secure, well-governed data environments. This is an opportunity to shape modern data and analytics delivery at Methods, leveraging Fabric, Power BI and related Azure data services to deliver value for government and industry clients.

- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions aligned to data strategies and business outcomes
- Install, configure and manage Fabric environments including workspaces and security models
- Develop data pipelines, lakehouse and warehouse patterns using Fabric and associated services
- Create semantic models and support Power BI reporting and self-service analytics
- Configure data refresh, monitoring and governance for reliable production services
- Collaborate with architects, data engineers and stakeholders to deliver practical, secure Fabric solutions
- Produce technical designs, deployment plans and handover materials
- Support migrations from legacy platforms into Microsoft Fabric
- Proven experience designing, installing, configuring or supporting Microsoft Fabric solutions
- Strong understanding of Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Power BI)
- Experience building data pipelines and data models using Microsoft data technologies
- Good knowledge of Power BI, semantic modelling and DAX
- Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake Storage, Databricks) would be advantageous
- Understanding of governance, security, data quality and lifecycle management
- Ability to troubleshoot data platform issues and optimize performance
- Experience in Agile delivery and producing technical documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex concepts to varied audiences
