- Additional Info: - Join four Geriatricians who support nursing home rounds, along with 7 APPs and 3 full-time nursing staff- Primary responsibilities include overseeing patient care at area nursing homes in post-acute care, long-term care, and assisted living/memory care- Work in close collaboration with the APP team to manage patients' needs- Part-time positions available- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation- Opportunity to teach Internal Medicine residents- Optional opportunity to moonlight with our urgent care for extra income- Family or Internal Medicine candidates with significant Geriatrics experience or a fellowship-trained geriatrician candidate are welcome to apply - Hospital practice is not required- Physicians will be on call for their nursing home patients during the workday week as needed; however, APPs handle the majority of calls- Physicians rotate "MD Backup Call" between the 4 Geriatricians, serving as a resource to APPs as needed for nights/weekends
