Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Locums Job 4-Day Workweek Option One Hour from Madison, Wisconsin

We are seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a 6 month outpatient locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, approximately one hour from Madison.

This opportunity offers an excellent work-life balance with a flexible four- or five-day workweek, no after-hours call, and dedicated 1:1 clinical support . Physicians will enjoy a consistent outpatient schedule, manageable patient volumes, and the flexibility to see either all ages or adults only.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient primary care coverage, averaging 18-22 patients per day
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, preventive care, and routine wellness visits
Treat patients of all ages, with adult-only coverage considered
Work Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, depending on provider preference
Choose between 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM shifts
Collaborate with dedicated 1:1 MA, LPN, or RN clinical support
Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
No after-hours call required

Qualifications:
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Wisconsin medical license and applicable credentialing requirements
Experience providing outpatient primary care
Comfortable managing approximately 18-22 patients per day
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative clinical team
Availability for a 6 month ongoing
