Medix Healthcare Staffing is seeking a physician (MD/DO) to support a federal public health initiative at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

Required Schedule (1 Physician Needed):

  • Tuesday Saturday 6:00am 2:30pm

Assignment Details:

  • Contract: October 12, 2026 February 5, 2027
  • Location: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Atlanta, Georgia
  • Local candidates from the Greater Atlanta area strongly preferred

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Evaluate travelers referred after initial nursing screening
  • Conduct focused public health assessments using established federal protocols
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with federal agencies and airport personnel
  • Document assessments and public health interventions

Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Active unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Board Certified preferred
  • Clean malpractice history
  • U.S. Citizen required for federal airport security clearance
  • Ability to pass an extensive federal background investigation
  • Ability to obtain airport security badging

  • PPE training and N95 fit testing
