Family Medicine Physician Job Requirements

• Board certified or board certification eligible in Family Medicine
• Valid physician licensure appropriate for practice in Georgia
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Family Medicine or outpatient primary care experience
• Ability to evaluate and manage patients across the lifespan
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and medical documentation skills
• Must be a local candidate

Family Medicine Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric, adult, and older adult patients
• Conduct approximately 20 patient encounters during each scheduled workday
• Perform medical histories and physical examinations, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
• Manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, preventive care, and health maintenance needs
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and coordinate follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered care
