Job/Practice Description: Family Practitioner
  • Full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Provides primary care including histories, exams, lab tests, prescriptions, and referrals
  • Performs timely EHR documentation within 48 hours of each visit
  • Provides patient education, counseling, and shared decision-making around diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis
  • Coordinates care with internal and external providers and hospitals
  • Prioritizes Value Based Care metrics at patient visits
  • Attends site, department, and provider meetings
  • May serve as collaborating physician for nurse practitioners, per collaborative practice agreement
  • Completes medical chart reviews to evaluate standards of care and treatment outcomes
  • May perform specialty services after additional training, credentialing, and certification

Requirements:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in field of practice
  • Valid South Carolina medical license
  • 1 3 years of experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations
