Field Computer Specialist Coquitlam

Maintain computer systems and broadband connectivity as a Field Computer Specialist serving U-Haul locations from Coquitlam, British Columbia. Travel between sites to keep technology operating.

U-Haul’s Field Computer Specialist manages computer and security systems throughout an assigned area. The work includes implementing equipment, supporting users, training users, and coordinating solutions for security gaps. You will distinguish user errors from issues requiring software vendor escalation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain maximum uptime for computer systems and broadband connectivity
• Implement field computer systems across assigned U-Haul entities
• Support and train users as needed
• Identify solutions for security gaps and compliance issues
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University

Requirements:

• Experience with computers, printers, VOIP, phones, and cash drawers
• Experience with security monitoring, alarms, doors, and digital video
• Current valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship
